CASA of Oklahoma County relies on diverse streams of funding to ensure that it will be able to serve the foster children in Oklahoma County. As a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, CASA of Oklahoma County seeks sponsors to support its sole program—the recruitment, training and support of Court Appointed Special Advocates who advocate for the best interests of foster children in our community.

Our mission at CASA of Oklahoma County is to provide trained volunteers to be champions for the individualized best interests of children in foster care. CASA of Oklahoma County provides trained, caring adult volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers get to know the children and communicate with all parties in the case and people in the children’s lives in order to provide complete information and sound recommendations to the court. As “the eyes and ears” of the judge, the CASA volunteer offers a neutral, third-party opinion to the court, one that is unbiased and child-focused.

Our Annual Events:

Volunteer Appreciation Event

Each year, CASA of Oklahoma County recognizes the hard work and dedication of our volunteers at the Volunteer Appreciation Event. This evening offers laughs and tears and helps highlight the commitment of our volunteers, donors, staff, and all others that make the work of CASA of Oklahoma County possible.

Energy for Children

(separate sponsorship opportunities available)

For over 15 years, CASA of Oklahoma County has been the beneficiary of Halliburton’s Energy for Children event. This one-day clay sporting shoot hosts over 500 people in support of the abused and neglected children of Oklahoma County. The event is held each spring and remains the largest clay sporting event in the state.

Tapas + Tastings

Taking place in the spring at the Oklahoma History Center, this fun evening event provides a new and interesting flair to CASA of Oklahoma County’s Evening to Remember. Guests will enjoy tapas paired with tastings of fine wines. Entertainment will include a DJ, wine toss, corn hole, and other lively games. There will also be an opportunity to see and hear about the impact CASA of Oklahoma County has on Oklahoma County children.
